Our Sea Clam Juice (46 oz. can) is an extremely useful (and often overlooked) kitchen staple. It has a salty, briny, yet delicately sweet taste that compliments a wide variety of dishes. It is commonly used in pasta dishes, soups and chowders, stir-fries, and even cocktails.
All of our LaMonica brand sea clams (also known as Atlantic surf clams) are caught off the coast of NJ and canned just a few miles away, for maximum freshness. They are transported live from our fleet of clamming vessels directly to our state-of-the-art, Southern NJ facility where they are hand-shucked, processed and canned. We handle every step of production, from ocean to plate, ensuring that our standards of quality and freshness are never compromised.

Since 1973, the core business at Captree Clam and Seafood has been our hard clams. As we’ve evolved through the years, we have added such products as shell oysters, soft clams (steamers), and live lobsters. Our own regional trucks run nightly to serve the tri-state area. We also connect with LTL truckers for access to the New England, Midwest, and Mid-Atlantic markets. Our proximity to New York’s airports, which are important cargo hubs, serve our West Coast customers well.
